Ann plays a critical role at Kaplan Financial as the firm’s Vice President of Strategy and Operations. She implements and oversees policy changes regarding a myriad of financial planning issues. These range from retirement planning, accumulation, and distribution strategies, to tax solutions, and estate planning implementation and administration. She is able to pivot to meet client needs in a variety of financial arenas including legislative and IRS changes, financial product enhancements, and unique client challenges.
She holds the Certified Financial PlannerTM designation and earned her MBA from Babson College. She has made her home at Kaplan Financial since 1995 and is responsible for all advanced analyses and implementation, and oversees all staff at the firm.
Before joining Kaplan Financial, Ann was Vice President of the Cooperative Bank of Concord where she created and sold over $1 billion of mortgage backed securities, earning $10 million in profits for the bank. She was Assistant Vice President of the Boston Federal Savings Bank from 1984-1992 where she successfully established and organized the Secondary Market Department and coordinated all aspects of sales to the Secondary Market. This resulted in over $500 million of loan sales and $5 million in profits. She negotiated over $1 billion of loan sale contracts resulting in lower fees, increased profits, and improved contract variances.
